Marble Flooring Production Process! Amazing Cutting Process!

This video takes us on a journey from the very beginning of marble floor production, starting all the way back in the mine. We get to see the process used by a major marble producer in China, showing how this beautiful natural stone is extracted and prepared for use.

From The Mine To The Factory

The process begins at a 30-year-old mining company. The first step involves setting up rails in the quarry. These rails are important because they act as tracks for the large cutting machines. It’s apparently much simpler than building a real railroad!

Interestingly, the rocks found beneath these rail tracks are actually unextracted marble veins. After the rails are in place, a big cutting machine is installed. Special care is taken with the cooling water pipes; they are hung in the air to avoid being crushed by forklifts.

Next, the massive saw blades are fitted. These blades are described as being like something from prehistoric times. The video then shows the vertical cutting of the marble in the mine. Following this, the marble is cut horizontally using a wire saw. Grooves are broken up for mining, and then the marble is shoveled.

The extracted marble is loaded onto trucks and transported to a processing factory. Even small pieces of raw marble are used for making floors. Getting large marble pieces can be tricky because of cracks in the stone, making truly giant, uncracked stones quite rare. The video mentions that footage for giant marble production is still being edited.

Processing The Marble

Once at the processing factory, the marble undergoes several stages. The cutting process is shown, including adjusting the saw blade clearance. After a piece of marble is cut, it's removed. The workers are described as smart.

One interesting technique shown is the "flame-treated slab" process. This is used to create marble with a rough surface, typically for outdoor flooring. When the marble surface is exposed to flame, it flakes off. This flaking creates a rough texture, which is great for outdoor use because it makes the surface non-slip, especially when it gets hot.

Another part of the process involves marble polishing. The polishing head is activated, and the marble is essentially scrubbed. This results in a polished marble surface, which is ideal for indoor flooring. The video also shows another use for marble: making road curbs.

Finally, the video shows crushed marble. The creator asks viewers to share their knowledge in the comments and thanks everyone for watching. They promise to try and provide more interesting content and remind viewers to subscribe and hit the notification bell.
